According to our test, capturing from DV cam to 1394 hard
drive directly is difficult with following systems, because
MacOS X needs high CPU performance to capture data from DV
cam to 1394 hard drive.
We recommend to capture the data to internal hard drive and
use firewire drives for the backup and transport.
