This self-extracting archive file contains the following files:

|   (Version 3.58 MiniPort Driver for Windows 95/98)

Note : Other files than the above-mentioned files need not be updated.

What's New :
  1. Modify REX9530.MPD (From v3.57 to v3.58)
    Solved the trouble that writing error with the CD-R drive (CARAVEL CD-R CDR-N820EX 1.08).
    NOTE : 8X-writing has not been supported yet.

To extract the archive file :
  1. Make the empty folder named REX9530 on the hard disk.
  2. Move 9530u_03.exe into the REX9530 folder.
  3. Double click the REX9530 folder.
  4. Double-click the 9530u_03.exe icon in the folder.
  5. Be sure that multiple files are extracted.
  6. Delete 9530u_03.exe from the REX9530 folder.

Updating the driver for Windows 98 :
  1. Click the Start button, select Settings and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click the System icon.
  3. Click the Device Manager tab.
  4. Double-click SCSI controllers.
  5. Select SCSI PC Card REX 9530 in the list.
  6. Click on the Properties button, then click on the Software tab.
  7. Check to see the date before updating the driver.
  8. Click on the Update Driver... button.
  9. When the Update Device Driver Wizard window appears, click on the Next button.
  10. Select Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now (Recommended) and click on the Next button.
  11. Select Specify a location and input the c:\REX9530 (In the case the drive letter of your hard disk drive is "c"). Then click on the Next button.
  12. Select The updated driver (Recommended) and click on the Next button.
  13. Check to see the driver appears and click on the Next button.
  14. Click on the Finish button.

Updating the driver for Windows 95 :
  1. Click the Start button, select Settings and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click the System icon.
  3. Click the Device Manager tab.
  4. Double-click SCSI controllers.
  5. Select SCSI PC Card REX 9530 in the list.
  6. Click on the Properties button, then click on the Software tab.
  7. Check to see the date before updating the driver.
  8. Click on the Update Driver... button.
  9. When the Update Device Driver Wizard window appears, select Yes. Then click on the Next button.
  10. Then click on the Other locations... button.
  11. When the Select Other Location dialog appears, click on the Brouse... button.
  12. Select c:\REX9530 (In the case the drive letter of your hard disk drive is "c"), click on the OK button.
  13. Click on the Finish button.
